ARC Readers Wanted for Mildly Horrible Tales
It’s a short post today. I’m looking for readers for Mildly Horrible Tales, my upcoming cozy horror, fantasy, short story collection. I plan on sending out ARCs by October 1st. I’d like the reviewers to leave a review sometime during the month of October. The collection will probably be around 40k words, but it’s not finished yet. Final word count will be given when I’m in the polishing stage.
If you’re new here, you can check out this post about what an ARC reader is.

Here’s a description of the book:
Tagline: Vengeance, death, and magic to soothe the soul
Description: Horror/fantasy short story collection with both dark stories of revenge and lighter stories about ghosts healing their souls.
Some of the stories are truly only mildly horrible, like the short story where a child comes to terms with losing her father in the sweetest way. Or the disappointment of a dessert that turns sour. Or the one when a ghost discovers her first crush.
However, some of the stories are horrific stories of body horror or murderous revenge, making the story the most horrible it could be (for my brand—I don’t write gore. My horror is more psychological).
Tropes:
unexpected endings
quirky characters
morally gray characters
fairy tale twists
witches, ghosts, potions and magic, environmental horror
If you want a few more details on Mildly Horrible Tales, you can read about it in this post.
